Registration & Check-In

In-person and virtual 5K and in-person 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk Entry Fee: $20 for all ages.
Five dollars of each registration will support the Marian H. Dean Scholarship.
Virtual race is free for those who want to run/walk with no shirt included.
There is no charge for small children in strollers for in-person race.
Online will open summer 2025. Participants may register in person at the Alumni Center (1101 N. Main St.) through Friday, October 17 from 9 a.m.–7 p.m.
Register the day of the race on Saturday, October 18 from 7–7:45 a.m. at the Student Fitness Center (347 S. University).
No refunds will be available.

Town and Gown Waiver

Prior to participation, individuals must complete a Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement. Individuals who register online will complete digital. Those who register onsite must sign the form manually at the registration table.

Friday, OCtober 17 from 8 a.m.–7 p.m. in the Kasten Room at the Alumni Center or Saturday, October 18 from 7–7:45 a.m. at the Student Fitness Center (347 S. University).

After registration, participants will receive a confirmation email in the following weeks that includes bib to print, further instructions, and a link to submit race time. All participants are encouraged to run on October 18 sporting their Redbird gear, but participants can finish any time prior to that date!
Use #RedbirdHomecoming to be included in our Homecoming photos montage. Results will be posted on the Homecoming 5K website.
